ossoms - feature film - historical biopic (in development)
Exactly 100 years ago... In the piney woods of rural Mississippi... A dream was planted... and Hope sprang forth.

- Set in Mississippi from 1909-1954, this story chronicles one man's struggle to educate the "forgotten children of his race" despite racist opposition.  It is an inspiring story that proves one person can change the world if they follow their calling and refuse to abandon it... against all odds.

NO LIMIT: The Extremely Short Story of My Poker Career - short film - quirky comedy (in POST-PRODUCTION)
- As a kid, I had talent... lots of potential.  I dreamed of the Olympics, or maybe the NFL, or maybe even Hollywood.  But after failing miserably as a seafood waiter, I decided to take up Texas Hold'em to fund my unemployment.

The Daughter of Rappaccini - feature spec script - romantic tragedy (in development)
- Adapted from a short story by Nathaniel Hawthorne, this is the tragic tale of Giovanni's impossible love for the girl who tends the garden beneath his apartment window.  Her name is Beatrice, the most beautiful woman in all of Padua, Italy and the only daughter of Dr. Rappaccini, an infamous scientist known for his deadly botanical experiments.



The Making of Lemonade - short film - non-linear drama (in development)
- The hitchhiker's name is Lennon.  This is the story of where she's going and where she's been... told simultaneously.

The Flipbook Moving Picture Company is a full service film & video production company owned and operated by Scott Magie, an award-winning writer, director, and editor based in East Lansing, MI and Wilmington, NC.
 
As a child, Scott spent many painstaking hours drawing "flipbooks", and this tireless passion for the art of moving pictures can still be seen in every project he undertakes. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film & Television Production from Montana State University, and has worked on feature films, national commercials, stock footage shoots, documentaries, and corporate promotional videos.

The Only Thing - short film - drama
- The FMPC is proud to announce the completion of the digital short film entitled The Only Thing, written and produced by Rachel Greenberger, directed by Greenberger and Derek Tindall, and edited by Brad Walker of The Lighthouse Film Company and Scott Magie of the FMPC.  The film explores the relationship between everyday decisions (both big and small) and the timeless question: "What is the only thing that matters?"
***Screened at the 2007 Cucalorus Film Festival.


Grey Branches - short film - drama
- The FMPC is proud to announce the completion of the digital short film entitled Grey Branches, written and directed by New Hampshire filmmaker Paul Foster (Harold Knows The Difference).  The film is a thoughtful and dream-like story about a man dealing with tragedy.

- The FMPC is proud to announce the completion of the writing and editing of high-end promotional videos for three amazing summer camps in upstate New York and Pennsylvania (contracted by The Lighthouse Film Company). 



HAROLD KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE - short film - experimental (8 min.)
- Produced from script to screen in 24 hours, this film paints a picture of Harold's life through numerous vignettes.
*Winner - Best Cinematography and Best On-call Actor awards - Final Cut Festival (Wilmington, NC)

- Behind-the-scenes of a year-long construction project at Calvary Chapel of Wilmington.
